5 things you don't need to know about me

Well, time to try and do activity no 2 in the teacher challenge, 30 days to kick-start your blogging. Once again I am starting out on the beginners level and later on I hope I will have time for the advanced level.
I guess there are a lot of things that you don't need to know about me. Here you'll get five of them.

#1
The first thing that you really don't need to know about me is that I danced ballet from the year I turned 5 until I was 11 years old. I always loved to dance at home and one day my mom took me to a ballet school in a neighbouring town. I loved it for a while and I still think it is fascinating watching other people dance.

I was born and raised on a dairy-farm in Sweden in the late seventies. I still love going back home just to enjoy the woods, where we just to hike as kids.

#3
You also don't need to know that I hope I will soon have my own garden to take care of. We recently moved to Norway and we would love to find a small wooden house of our own.

Hmmm, this was harder than I thought. Well, I started out studying Computational Linguistics in 1997 and then decided that wasn't for me, so I tried out Computer Science in 1998 - that was definitely not for me.

I have stayed for almost a year in Needham, a small community close to Boston, Massachusetts. I stayed with  a family with 3 kids as an au-pair (nanny). I also managed to study early american history at a community college

OK, I think I have to rename this post 5 things ... I have trouble finding things that you don't need to know about me. When I think about it, everything you know about a person makes it easier to understand her/him. And everything that has happened to me or I have done makes me to the person I am today. So maybe there aren't many things that you don't need to know about me!
